The system, called Syn, was designed by Apollo S&H and provides many features. Syn provides air ventilation in your refrigerator or incubator, eliminating unpleasant or dangerous odors and/or gases from your cabinet. Virtually silently and imperceptibly, Syn pumps the contents of your cabinet with a maximum distance of 25 meters to the outside, an extraction point or into a fume hood, with a hose that has only 25 mm outside diameter. As a result, the Syn has many applications, including within ATEX.

Syn can be built into virtually any incubator or refrigerator. By default, the Syn has two timers. The first timer divides the number of extraction times into a standard time format, divided into the day and week. For example, the timer can be programmed to refresh the incubator or refrigerator just before the end of lunch or coffee break. The timer can be entered at the day level, reads summer and winter time by itself and can also be programmed for weekends energy-efficiently. A second timer, is the one for extraction time. Both values are easily entered by the respective user and his application on the controller in the front.

The larger the cabinet or the more “pollution,” the more and longer we can extract. To ensure that at any time the cabinet is internally clean of gases or odors, the Syn can also be started by means of a push button. The push button starts the flushing process on command and stops again automatically. The Syn has a recess along the feed shaft so that additional sensors can also be carried along with the passage of the Syn in the incubator.

The Syn is further expandable with a HEPA filter and / or an Active Carbon filter for extra safe working. You can add this later or you can opt directly for the Syn Airo which is already equipped with a carbon filter and has no exhaust hose to the outside. The Syn Airo is equipped with a removable carbon filter which purifies and recirculates the air in the room. Through this solution, you are not bound to exhaust the dirty air to the outside. The carbon filters are easily removable by the user or service technician.
