The history of Apollo
More than 15 years ago, Maarten Cramer started his business in his home space in Lith. Initially he was an importer of standard solutions in heat technology but soon there was a demand for modifications to this equipment. Soon this was such a success that Maarten was able to provide more complex questions with complete custom solutions.
Introducing the first version of our robust drying oven. This model was later evaluated into our complete line of drying ovens which, thanks to innovative technology, continue to be a resounding success within the testing industry.
When here first colleague Pieter Visser (mechanical designer) joined the company about 5 years after its founding, the possibilities for customization at Apollo no longer hit the mark. Several machines in the testing sector were fabricated and fully 3D engineered.
The new generation of Cramer makes its appearance at Apollo. Jeroen Cramer, Maarten's son has joined the company. His mission is to further globalize the company. To build with the team on the foundation laid some 16 years ago.
Apollo is celebrating 15 years and it is being celebrated extensively at the company's facility then located in Lith. We were able to celebrate with our suppliers, customers and employees through music , drinks and tasty snacks. On to the next 15 years!
Since September 2022 we have moved to Landweer 12 | 5411 LV | Zeeland.
We had outgrown our premises in Lith and moved into a building in the town of Zeeland which has a very pleasant production hall and other facilities that could not be missed.
With a large team of dedicated employees, we are working daily to make our laboratory equipment and custom solutions even better and even more beautiful, while keeping in mind the wallet of the customers. We are also working on new products and practical innovations. We have the ambition to keep growing and feel privileged to still be able to fulfill this ambition every year!
